For Bungle Construction Site I developed Bungle Gender. Bungled Gender ironically assumes that all gender variants are faulty and badly made. Bungled Gender bungled gender with relish in the reproduction of a "perfectly" done work of heteronormativity and two-gender order.

Für Pfusch Baustelle entwickelte ich Pfusch Gender. Pfusch Gender unterstellt ironisch allen Gendervarianten, daß sie fehlerhaft und schlecht gemacht sind. Pfusch Gender verpfuscht Gender lustvoll in der Reproduktion einer „perfekt“ gemachten Arbeit der Heteronormativität und Zwei-Geschlechter-Ordnung.

The project is initiated by Nataša Mackuljak and Ivana Marjanović in the framework of Ivana Marjanović’s fellowship by kültüř gemma! 2013 (www.kueltuergemma.at) and diverCITYLAB scholarship (www.divercitylab.at). Additional support: ÖH and Bundeskanzleramt Österreich.
Pfusch Baustelle is a performance project related to our own (individual and collective) FUŠ stories and experiences. In April an open call for participants was released. Without audition or selection, all interested persons joined it, forming a group of authors coming from different art disciplines and backgrounds. The process of creative research on the concept and practices of “pfusch" led to the collectively and horizontally produced theatrical performance.
* Pfusch in German language means careless and slovenly performed work or illegalized work. In Serbo-Croatian language it means badly done work or product, bad copy of an original, lacking quality. Fušer (Pfuscher), besides those negative connotations means as well „majstor _ka kvariša“ which in English would be in a literal translation artisan who breaks things, makes them not working (in German wortwörtlich: Meister_in Kaputtmacher_in) but does that out of desire to repair or invent.

Das Projekt wurde von Nataša Mackuljak und Ivana Marjanović initiiert. Ivana Marjanović wurde durch ein Stipendium von diverCITYLAB ( www.divercitylab.at) und dem fellowship program von kültüř gemma! 2013 (www.kueltuergemma.at) unterstützt dieses Projekt zu realisieren. Zusätzliche Unterstützung erfolgte durch: ÖH und dem Bundeskanzleramt Österreich.
Pfusch Baustelle ist ein Performance-Projekt, das im Verhältnis zu unseren eigenen (individuellen und kollektiven) FUŠ Geschichten und Erfahrungen steht. Es begann im April 2014 mit einem open call nach Teilnehmer_innen. Ohne Vorsprechen oder Selektion nehmen seitdem alle interessierten Personen an dem Projekt teil. In Folge formierte sich eine Gruppe von Autorinnen und Autoren mit unterschiedlichem Hintergrund aus verschiedenen Kunstbereichen. Der Prozeß des kreativen Recherchierens und praktischen Ausübens von "Pfusch" führte zu einer theatralen Performance die in Folge der kollektiven und horizontalen Zusammenarbeit entstand.
* Pfusch im Deutschen bedeutet achtlos, schlampig ausgeführte Arbeit oder auch illegalisierte Arbeit. Im Serbokroatischen steht das Wort für schlecht gemachte Arbeit, eine schlechte Kopie eines Originals oder ein Produkt mit mangelhafter Qualität. Abgesehen von dem negativen Beigeschmack, kann Pfuscher genausogut "majstor _ka kvariša" bedeuten, was wörtlich übersetzt in etwa so viel bedeutet wie „Meister _in Kaputtmacher“, jemand der Dinge zerstört, jedoch tut sie dies mit der Absicht sie zu reparieren oder neu zu erfinden.
